Before the Blog- Split Self-Portraits

I did this project my first and second year.  Since mirrors are rather expensive, I took a photo of each student.  Students were challenged to draw half of their portrait realistically, using the photo.  The other side was meant to show their inner-self.  Students could interpret that in many ways; their power animal, things they are passionate about, where they see themselves later in life, etc.
